How to Play Straight Down the Middle Online Slots

First thing you’ll need to do before playing our new online slots game, is set your total bet by clicking on the ‘Bet/Lines’ menu. Your total bet is your bet-per-line x the number of win lines chosen. You can choose up to 15 win lines, and make a bet between 2p – £10 per line.

This means that, if you bet 10p over all 15 win lines, then your total bet will be £1.50 per spin! But not to worry – your total bet will be worked out and displayed for you at the top of the ‘Bet/Lines’ menu. Once you’re happy with the total bet amount, just press the spin button to begin.

Reel Wins

We’re going to get reel with you now. All wins are a multiplier of bet-per-line, however, the amount you win depends on which symbols you have, and how many. To win, for some symbols you only need 2 on an active win line, however some may require 3 before they pay out. You can see all of this in our paytable though, which you can access from the menu in the top left corner.

While playing all of your winning lines will be highlighted to you, and your wins will be added to your credit automatically. However, keep in mind that all win lines pay from left to right, and that you can only win once on each individual line. If you’re lucky enough to win across multiple lines, the winnings will be added together to form one total win; this will be displayed to you before being added to your credit. You will also need to keep in mind that you can only win once per line, too – however, the Dr always pays out the highest value win for each line.

Wild Symbols

For this old-school slots game, our Wild symbols will be the happy little helpers! Wild symbols take the place of most other symbols (they can’t take place of Free Spins or mini-game symbols, though) to help you create winning combinations. Keep in mind though, that you can’t win the Mega Jackpot with a Wild symbol in play – for that, you’ll need 5 Jackpot symbols on an active win line!

However, here’s an example of what they can do: say you spin in two hearts and a Wild symbol on an active win line. Now, you normally need three heart symbols to pay out a winning, so spinning in only two of these would normally be a loss… yet, with a Wild in play, you’ll still get that winning!

Down the Middle Mini-Game

To access this mini-game, you just need to line up 2 or more bonus symbols in a row, on an active win line. The more symbols you have, the better the multipliers!

Lining up two or more bonus symbols will take you to a large bonus wheel, filled to the rim with multipliers for you! The wheel will have three tiers for you to try and beat; to advance to the next inner-circle you’ll need to land on an arrow. The objective of the mini-game is to go straight through the middle of the circle, to the mammoth multiplier in the centre. However, if you land on an outer-ring bonus, you’ll be returned to the reels with that multiplier. You only get one spin per ring, so if you land on a multiplier instead of an arrow, you won’t get to re-spin.

Either way, the game will end with you returning to the main reels with a multiplier!

Free Spins

To get the beloved Free Spins, you’ll need to line up 3, 4 or 5 Free Spins symbols, which will get you 5, 7 or 9 free spins respectively. These symbols can be in any order, as long as they’re on an active win line; keep in mind that, while they’ll be locked to value of your last paid-for spin, you won’t be charged from your credit for the duration of the spins.

Progressive Mega Jackpot

The occurrence of 5 (five) “JACKPOT” Jackpot symbols filling a win line on every reel awards the progressive Mega Jackpot. The progressive Mega Jackpot is available on any bet, with 0.025% of the bet being added to the progressive pots. Half of the value gets added to the current jackpot, and half to a reserve pot ready for the next winner.

When the Jackpot is won, it is reset and begins to rise again. Simultaneous wins can occur. If a player wins the progressive Mega Jackpot then a notification would occur BEFORE any other player was awarded the Jackpot. Any players in a game that contributes to that same Mega Jackpot will receive the on-screen notification of a reset the next time they press the spin button if it is within 10 minutes of the jackpot being won. In the event of a communication error after a progressive win result has been determined and before it has been displayed on screen, the win amount will automatically be transferred to the player’s account. While the game is live, the Jackpots cannot be terminated.
